It isn't entirely unreasonable to think that the B-dog is on to something when he gets the willies as the thunder starts and the rain and lightening seem imminent. While it is engaging and a pure hoot to be fishing while everything goes to hell all around you it seems that I'm a little slower than my boy to come to the conclusion that standing in the river waving a highly conductive, metal tipped, carbon fiber stick might not be the most tenable position, safety-wise, to conduct longevity research as it pertains to a life well lived.Which is just a long winded way of saying that my dog is smarter than I am and has the good sense not to be standing balls deep in water while lightning strikes earth within one's peripheral vision and thinking "Geez I hope it rains hard enough to put that fire out . . ."
